ABOUT US

We exist to solve a real problem — the operational, compliance, and logistics gap that holds regulated-industry events back from institutional-grade execution.

Our Founding
“Navigating complex state and municipal regulatory frameworks is our core competency — compliance is the cornerstone of every engagement we deliver.”

CannaGroup 180 LLC is a premier business-to-business (B2B) management consulting and corporate event logistics firm specializing in the highly regulated commercial cannabis ecosystem and adjacent emerging markets. We engineer the strategic planning, operational management, and execution of large-scale B2B trade shows, industry conferences, and corporate exhibitions.

Working exclusively with licensed event organizers, commercial exhibitors, enterprise stakeholders, and municipalities, we deliver turnkey logistical solutions designed for the regulated commercial sector. By focusing heavily on risk mitigation, municipal compliance, and supply chain coordination, we allow our B2B clients to safely focus on networking, brand development, and industry education.

CannaGroup 180 LLC was incorporated in October 2024 as a direct response to a structural gap in the regulated specialty events market — the absence of a dedicated, compliance-aligned operational infrastructure for trade shows and industry conferences operating in highly regulated sectors. Based in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, we serve organizers, exhibitors, venues, and brands operating in regulated specialty industries across multiple U.S. jurisdictions.

Heather Wood is the Chief Managing Member and CEO of CannaGroup 180 LLC, bringing more than a decade of verified executive leadership, nonprofit governance, and budget management to the firm. A graduate of Mount Holyoke College, Heather's academic foundation was established at Northfield Mount Hermon School in Massachusetts and further developed through studies at Wheaton College. Her credentials reflect a consistent pattern of institutional rigor and community accountability.

Prior to founding CannaGroup 180 LLC, Heather served as Chief Executive Officer of the Heartwing Center for ten years — a tenure that required sustained executive oversight, board accountability, staff leadership, and direct management of complex multi-program operational budgets at the million-dollar level. That experience translates directly into the financial discipline, operational precision, and stakeholder communication skills that large-scale B2B event management demands.

Heather's commitment to institutional leadership extends into the broader Franklin County community. She is a sitting member of the United Way Board Committee, has served on a Strategic Planning Committee, and chaired the JEDI-B Committee. She founded the Franklin County Domestic Violence Task Force and sits on the Franklin Opioid Task Force — demonstrating the governance experience, regulatory awareness, and community trust that commercial partners, lenders, and procurement officers look for.

Our Commitment to Compliance

CannaGroup 180 LLC operates exclusively as an ancillary B2B logistics and management consulting firm. Our firm does NOT cultivate, manufacture, distribute, transport, sell, store, hold, or otherwise touch cannabis, cannabis-derived products, or controlled substances at any time.

All revenues generated by CannaGroup 180 LLC are derived explicitly from traditional, ancillary B2B service agreements — including consulting retainers, event management fees, space leasing, and marketing services. We mandate that all events, festivals, and trade shows we manage operate under the strictest standards of municipal zoning, state law, and regulatory frameworks.

Our compliance infrastructure is designed to satisfy merchant account underwriters, commercial lenders, insurance carriers, institutional procurement standards, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols, and federal banking compliance requirements.
